won by Marvo Manning would have aroused the
curiosity of Barbadians with regards to pageantry?
This curiosity has evolved into a national annual
tradition with numerous young ladies competing for

Semi Finals
Grenada and St Vincent & the Grenadines grabbed the
second semi final spot in the Digicel Caribbean Cup
New York, to join St Lucia and Jamaica in what is
sure to be an exciting semi-final at the Jefferson
High School in Brooklyn, New York, Sunday,
August 30th.

Money laundering and
theft charges laid against St Lucian businessman
Anguilla
police have laid two additional charges in court
against a St Lucian businessman, including one for
money laundering. They said the additional charge is
for theft of a quarter of a million US dollars from
a business colleague in nearby St Maarten.
